We couldn't go through all of the potential car problems here without making this article significantly longer, but what we can do is to look at a few of the common car troubles that we all experience and whether you need a car mechanic to fix them.
Battery Problems
Our car battery normally seems to be limitless in its supply of energy. The reason for this is that it is charged by the very movement of the car when we drive through the use of the alternator. This ensures that it is constantly being refilled and we constantly have enough energy to keep driving and to keep operating our lights, windshield wipers etc.
However sometimes this stops working, and in that case it could be one of several things. On the one hand it might just be that you accidentally left the car on too long without having the engine running. In that case you will have drained the battery and you should be able to give it a jump start with some jump leads.
Another option however is that your battery is dead, or that your alternator is broken. In either case you are going to need to have a part replaced by a mechanic service, so it's time to take it in.
